Oh, I forgot....NO PANTS!!



I'm biking home yesterday near Dow's Lake and there are a bunch of people out yachting (well, no yachts really) but there was a couple in a canoe.  They looked like a nice couple as far as I could tell from a distance.  The woman was wearing a black top………………..AND NO PANTS!  She was bent over changing positions in the canoe and it seriously looked like she had no pants on.  There was a man biking towards me and he did the same head swivel because  she appeared to HAVE NO PANTS ON. 
Do you not look at yourself in the mirror at the store when trying pants on and realize that they are very close to the colour of yourself which could lead people to think that YOU ARE WEARING NO PANTS?
It was all a bit disconcerting but certainly gave me lots to think about as I was fighting with the damned wind on the way home.  Stupid wind!!
This just made me laugh.  Duck butt and owls, doesn’t take much to make me laugh I guess.
I am getting a bit of pressure headache today and I have to say, this kind of makes me a little sick too - lol.

Oh but Charlie Brown you picked a fantastic tree and now my office looks so Christmas-y.  I could use a pair of gold sparkly shoes just like that one too. My day is going to be interesting I'm sure.  I got up late and, thinking I had an eye doctor's appointment today, drove in and was quite thrilled that I was only 15 minutes late getting in.  Turns out that the appointment is next Monday.  Now I get to pay $20 for parking for no reason.  Sigh... I got on the elevator with a woman this morning who had a Guitar Hero box and chocolates and cookies.  I told her that this looked like the best way to start a week and she agreed.  I wonder if I could convince the powers to be here that we should also have a "band day".  I could totally be a back up singer. Cows downtown today? I hope so.

    There is a demonstration happening downtown today by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.   I hope that they bring cows.   That would be amazing to watch.   I’m not sure what their issue is but I try to do my part by eating yogurt.   I apologize for not drinking as much milk anymore but I have switched to almond milk.   The last week has been filled with wonders, smells, sounds and, most importantly, new shoes.   My feet were very cold last week (but certainly not this week) because they are encased in running shoes that had ventilation in the toe so I went out and got a sweet pair of Converse high tops which keep my feet toasty warm right up to my ankles.   The problem I found though is that they are not good in the rain.   While it was not raining on my ride home yesterday I did get wet and the shoes are very slippery on the peddles.   I was stuck behind two guys for far too long (mostly because I forgot to take my new route so I can avoid the many, many ruts along the

Do birds yawn?

That is my question of the day.  I saw a seagull standing on the Rideau Canal wall this morning and it looked like he was yawning.  Now I'm curious. I forgot to show you the shoes I wore yesterday.  It was a fabulous shoe day.  After an initial crack (and even I was a tad worried for a moment) my foot settled into the shoe and was quite happy for the entire day.  We won't discuss how it felt last night....that's a secret between me and my Advil. Like the shoes say "my feet looked fabulous". Today's shoes are a favourite from our last Pointe Clair shopping adventure. You just have to love living in Canada.  The weather was so different this morning than it was yesterday.  Yesterday I was sweating 15 minutes into my ride to work and this morning it felt like there were icicles on my fingers.  Lovely for biking though.  So many pretty sights to see this morning as well.  Seeing the hot air balloon in the sunrise was so pretty as long as you don&#
