Puzzler of the day:  The plug for our fridge is upside down so that the cord is bent.  Does yours do this?  The big plug for our stove is the same.  Who designed this?  Is it so that the cord will break and we'll have to get new appliances?  Crafty thinking or just mean manufacturers?

Might I also add that I pulled out the fridge in preparation for the engagement party this weekend and ewww, just ewww.  No wonder fridges die.  There was a giant furry creature attached to the motor.  You'd think they could design it in such a way that dust wouldn't collect but then I suppose your fridge would last forever and the manufacturers can't have that.

So.  Do you want an award?  A day at a spa maybe?  Cudo's for being so prolific?  Why would you want this on your car?  Is it a reason you'll use for bad driving?  I don't get it.

Oh but Charlie Brown you picked a fantastic tree and now my office looks so Christmas-y.  I could use a pair of gold sparkly shoes just like that one too. My day is going to be interesting I'm sure.  I got up late and, thinking I had an eye doctor's appointment today, drove in and was quite thrilled that I was only 15 minutes late getting in.  Turns out that the appointment is next Monday.  Now I get to pay $20 for parking for no reason.  Sigh... Do birds yawn?

That is my question of the day.  I saw a seagull standing on the Rideau Canal wall this morning and it looked like he was yawning.  Now I'm curious. I forgot to show you the shoes I wore yesterday.  It was a fabulous shoe day.  After an initial crack (and even I was a tad worried for a moment) my foot settled into the shoe and was quite happy for the entire day.  We won't discuss how it felt last night....that's a secret between me and my Advil. Like the shoes say "my feet looked fabulous". Today's shoes are a favourite from our last Pointe Clair shopping adventure. You just have to love living in Canada.  The weather was so different this morning than it was yesterday.  Yesterday I was sweating 15 minutes into my ride to work and this morning it felt like there were icicles on my fingers.  Lovely for biking though.  So many pretty sights to see this morning as well.  Seeing the hot air balloon in the sunrise was so pretty as long as you don&#

Cows downtown today? I hope so.

    There is a demonstration happening downtown today by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.   I hope that they bring cows.   That would be amazing to watch.   I’m not sure what their issue is but I try to do my part by eating yogurt.   I apologize for not drinking as much milk anymore but I have switched to almond milk.   The last week has been filled with wonders, smells, sounds and, most importantly, new shoes.   My feet were very cold last week (but certainly not this week) because they are encased in running shoes that had ventilation in the toe so I went out and got a sweet pair of Converse high tops which keep my feet toasty warm right up to my ankles.   The problem I found though is that they are not good in the rain.   While it was not raining on my ride home yesterday I did get wet and the shoes are very slippery on the peddles.   I was stuck behind two guys for far too long (mostly because I forgot to take my new route so I can avoid the many, many ruts along the
